Hippie Chick

I know I know... I am kind of a hippie. At least that is what some people call me. I am really not that bad but I occasionally like to do things different than what you may call the "norm". I am super pumped about something and I have to share my latest hippie trick! I was reading in a sleep book trying to figure out HOW am I going to get will to sleep in her crib? She HATES it and has since day one. The minute I set her down she starts to scream. I have tried the whole cry it out thing a few times and she is a stubborn one. The only thing I could get her to sleep in is this little napper thing that goes on top of the pack in play. Every time I describe this to someone I always say "It looks like a hammock". Well in this sleep book they were talking about this "Amby baby hammock"....hold on....back up...what!? BABY HAMMOCK? Hello? I have to google this greatness now! So I did some research and found out these hammocks run from $300+ and I don't have that kind of money. So naturally I am a craigslist-aholic and found one there for $40!! I picked it up as soon as I could and what do you know, Willa LOVES IT! She slept 8 1/2 hours in this thing first night out! I am beyond excited and just think it is the coolest thing since sliced bread. I took a little video of her napping in it. She is so stinking cute! You can tell she liked it so much she just wanted me to leave her alone.

2 months!

Monday Willa had her two month check up and the doctor said she looks to be doing great and is right on the curve (according to her age and size). She weighs 8lbs 12oz at 7% and is 20 1/2 inches tall at 2%. She is low on the charts but at least she's on the charts! She has really long eyelashes now and is starting to take notice of the things going on around her! She spends much of her time flirting with the fan and anything that is over her head! It is super cute! She had a cough during the snow week and I am so happy it wasn't RSV! Her cousin's Ruby and Maddox moved here last week and she has been spending a lot of time with them. Willa also took her first gymnastics class on Friday. I will post those pics later! Here are some pics I took on Sunday:
